LabTemps seeks an EHS Lead for our client who will be responsible for developing the EHS programs which will act as a foundation of a culture where safety, health, and environment are ingrained as a core value. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the employee EHS programs in partnership, including training and coaching, via hands-on leadership, coaching, and teamwork 
  • Lead the implementation and utilization of risk assessment and risk prediction processes in the site to ensure these are effective at identifying and mitigating hazards and effectively communicated/understood by all affected employees. Ensures investigation of all EHS related incidents utilizing continuous improvement tools to drive to root cause and identify actions to prevent recurrence. Ensures all actions to prevent recurrence are effectively implemented. Ensures effective injury case management process is fully implemented, well understood, and functioning as desired.
  • Ensure site maintains continuous “audit ready” state of compliance with company EHS policies and procedures as well as all applicable external regulatory requirements, and federal, state, and local regulations. Responsible to create and ensure implementation of necessary systems, processes, and procedures, including management of change.
  • Develop training lesson plan content for employees, particularly the populations working in the manufacturing environment on a daily basis, as well as visitors, internal or external.
  • Provide technical expertise and coaching to the whole manufacturing management team on building a positive safety culture in the facility and throughout the organization. Partners with other key functions on initiatives including Engineering, Operations, HR, Quality, etc. to deliver on goals and plans.
