Overview

  • Ensure the customer component supply chain is optimized for production facilities to fulfill the customer’s requirements.
  • Oversee the vendor sourcing, and Costing process.
  • Negotiate and finalize pricing contracts with manufacturers in conjunction with the customer procurement team.
  • Research and provide requested information from customers, and management.
  • Plan and support the production facilities with new menu implementation and day-to-day ingredient supplier support.
  • Collaborate with other horizontal organizations on management of Supply Chain Suppliers and Ingredients  

Manufacturing Management and Maintenance

  • Purchase Agreements
  • Stocking Agreement
  • Inventory Control = Initial production planning, quantity established, and ensure availability for product rollout.
  • Inventory Control = Review inventory usage, open order status, and restock.
  • Inventory Control = Inform of ingredient discontinuation and confirmations.
  • Inventory Control = Overstocked and dead stock inventory resolution.
  • Product Quality = Mediate resolutions with Food Safety and Quality Teams and Manufacturer Quality Control teams.
  • Manufacture Relations = Track and provide feedback on performance, quality, and fulfillment rates.
  • Cost Control = Negotiate new ingredient pricing, maintain current costs, and cost reductions.
  • Credit = Resolve credit issues when applicable.

Broad Line Distributor Management and Maintenance 

  • Inventory Control = Counsel and resolve inventory issues
  • Inventory Control = Oversee and coordinate a plan for new Menu implementation.
  • Inventory Control = Inform of ingredient discontinuation and confirmations.
  • Product Quality = Mediate resolutions with and FSQ Distributor Quality Control teams.
  • Product credit conflicts = Counsel and resolve if applicable.
  • Manufacture and Distributor Conflicts = Counsel and resolve if applicable.
  • Distributor Relations = Provide feedback on performance.
  • Cost Control = Resolve Price letter issues and cost reductions.
  • Credit Conflicts = Resolve credit issues when applicable.

 Production Facility Buyer Support

  • Inventory control = Counsel with Buyer(s) and resolve issues due to inadequate inventories.
  • Inventory Control = Oversee and coordinate a plan for new Menu implementation and follow up to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Inventory Control = Inform of ingredient discontinuation and confirmations.
  • Inventory Control = Counsel to reduce overstocked and stranded inventory.
  • Credit Conflicts = Resolve credit issues when applicable.
  • Cost Control = Issue and maintain updated price letters.
  • Meetings = Organize, Plan and mediate weekly buyer's meetings.

 Business Support

  • Multiple cross-functional meetings per week
  • General Business = basic daily office duties (phone, mail, Fed X, customer service)
  • Critical situation response = Manage urgent customer requests and changes.
  • Supervise staff and comply with HR functions. (Reviews, vacation, attendance, etc.)
  • CIP = Continuous Improvement Process (Forward CIP initiatives to R&D group)
  • Research and provide requested information from both customer and internal management. = National inventory requests and SKU exit planning and forecasts.
  • Interdepartmental communication and support.
