Seeking to hire Quality Lab Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Chicago, IL with a metal finishing and plating company that has been in business for over a hundred years.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·      Verify the chemistry, temperature, and pH of the plating bath are maintained by regular analysis

·      Make chemical additions to tanks based on the analytical tests and requirements

·      Maintain anodes, filters, and other physicals on the plating bath

·      Confirm all parts meet the quality requirements 

·      Maintain lab data on Lab Management Software

·      Overall lab maintenance including inventory control, raw material check, moving drums, and organizing chemical storage

·      Responsible for reporting to the Supervisor daily
